Alexander Ovechkin seems to make some kind of history every night he hits the ice for the Washington Capitals. Ovechkin is currently on a 3-game goal streak with four goals in that span, and with a goal on Sunday night against Winnipeg, Ovechkin is now just three goals away from becoming just the third player in NHL history to reach 800 career goals and just five goals away from overtaking Gordie Howe to become the second highest goal scorer in NHL history. Ovechkin's chase for history continues on USRN this week along with a Tuesday Night Hockey stop in Winnipeg while Friday Night Hockey heads to Minnesota.
